Warm Winters are Wonderful!

Hi Sisters!

We have had a great year so far, with lots of fun events! Its hard to believe we have four months to go before our end of the 2015-2016 season. If we think it goes by fast, imagine being back in college, when every day is filled with seeing your sisters, heading our for spring break, and going to class and finals...ok, don't go there.

I have been watching with amazement and excitement the growth and development of our colony at Kennesaw State University. Their Installation and initiation will take place this weekend (February 6th and 7th). All Alumnae are welcome to attend. On Saturday, it will take place at 5:30pm in the Student Union (Rooms BCD&E) at KSU - wear quill attire dark clothing. And on Sunday, arrive before 8:30am. It will take place at the Atlanta Marriott NW, 200 Interstate North Parkway, Atlanta 30339. Wear Quill Attire (White Shoes Mandatory). There is a lunch, $35, which is you plan to attend, must be prepaid, through the sorority website:

Next week is our hands-on Autism Speaks event. Join us on Thursday, February 11th at 6:30pm. We will be creating goodie bags for the Autism Speaks Walk kick off dinner. These bags will be filled by us, so please bring a small bag of candy (no nuts - save those for me), and/or some stickers or tattoos, or other small items to bring a smile to a child's face! We will meet at Jennifer Lee's Clubhouse, 4820 Avocet Drive NW Norcross, GA 30092. Bring some snacks to share, and OF COURSE, your favorite beverage (we share those too).

And start getting in shape now for our March 10th event - a Zumba class, which is part of our Clear Vision of Life support of the National Fraternity program. Wear your best "Sweat to Impress" clothing, a water bottle, $10 (cash please) and meet us at FC Fitnez inside of North Dekalb Mall, 2050 Lawrenceville Hwy, Decatur, GA 30033 - RC Fitnez is located in the mall at North Dekalb (corner of North Druid Hills & Lawrenceville Hwy). Park in the back near Burlington (this part of the store faces North Druid Hills) & walk through the store. It is on the right side, a few doors down after you walk through Burlington.

Then, in April, we will head south to McDonough for our Founder's Day celebration, on Saturday, April 16th, attached is the registration form. Make sure to register in advance and let's be sure to have a great turn out! Set up some carpools!

We will have three events in May, that I expect to have full participation from you. On Sunday, May 1st meet us at Turner Field for the Autism Speaks Walk. If you cannot come to volunteer, then donate to our team online at:

On Saturday, May 7th, our very own Rigby Duncan will be installed as the PRESIDENT of the Atlanta Panhellenic Alumnae Association. This will take place at the Cherokee Town Club in Atlanta. The cost will be $35. I want to fill up at least 4 tables or more! A huge outpouring of love and affection for Rigby and pride in Alpha Xi Delta in our continued involvement and love of APAA! Details and sign ups to follow.

Also in May, will be the last event of the year, a garden party, on Thursday, May 13th, 6:30pm, at the home of Sue DuPart, in Roswell. Where we will also install our officers for the next season 2016-17. Start thinking about how you would like to contribute to the growth of YOUR alumnae association!

See you soon!
