Atlanta North Metro AXiD Alumnae Upcoming Events!

Well Hello Sisters! I am getting excited about our upcoming year events! I hope everyone will participate with all the neat events and projects we have coming up.

The National Fraternity is launching our chapter at Kennesaw State University this Fall. Since they will not have big sisters (gasp!), we have been invited to sponsor a new sister on bid day! The cost is $40 and you can write a personal note to the young woman. Hopefully you will have the opportunity to meet her.

We are happy to promote "A Clear Vision of Life" - the well-being program from National. Please check it out, sign up for the five challenges, one is coming up this month! There are challenges and prizes involved!

September 10th, 2015 - 6:30pm - "Get to Know your Sisters" Fall kickoff event - bring a covered dish, side dish, salad or dessert to our potluck party! As always bring your favorite beverage!

October 8th, 2015 - 6:30pm  - "Living Xi Good Life" - Join us as we learn how to bring our finances under our control and learn how to build for the future so we can live Xi Good Life! Linda Kurylosi, Certified Financial Planner, will be our guest speaker. A Clear Vision of Life

November 12th, 2015 - 6:30pm - "November FEST" - "Hop" on over to Second Self Brewery - Bring a date or your significant other (or both) and some friends! December 10th, 2015 - 6:30pm - "Christmas Cookie Exchange" - Bring an unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots and 2 dozen cookies to exchange! Make sure to bring something to take them home in. We will bring a plate of cookies and donate toys for Toys for Tots.

January 14th, 2016 - 6:30pm - "Year of the Monkey" Chinese New Year Dinner - Bring a Chinese meal to share as we begin the new year! We will also be collecting toiletries for women living at Mary Hall Freedom House, a rehabilitation facility for women. Mary Hall Freedom House is the Atlanta Panhellenic Alumnae philanthropy.

February 11th, 2016 - 6:30pm - "Wreaths for Autism Speaks" Philanthropy Service - If you have some blue fabric ribbon and want to bring it. Bring snacks to share!

March 10th, 2016 - "Don't Cha Wanna Zumba, Zumba" - We will gather and live healthy by exercising with our sisters - Place and time and cost to be determined! A Clear Vision of Life

April 16th, 2016 - 10:30am - Founder's Day Luncheon - Sharw with us the special love of true sisterhood, as we travel down to Mcdonough to celebrate the founding of Alpha Xi Delta and honor those ladies who have been members for 50 years or more.

May 12th, 2016 - 6:30pm - "Garden Party" Salad and Dessert Dinner - Bring a perennial to exchange. Bring Salads and Desserts too!
