She’ll lead us on how to create a beautiful masterpiece that incorporates AXiD themes. The $25 fee includes all paint materials and supplies. ANMAA will provide some appetizers. Feel free to BYOB & additional snacks.

AAPA Foundation Fashion Show Fundraiser

You are invited to AAPA’s “Dollars for Scholars” Tailgate Fashion Show Luncheon on Friday, September 20, 2019. Sponsored by the AAPA Foundation, this event will raise funds for our annual scholarship program for high school, collegiate, and alumnae women. The event will also feature a 50/50 cash raffle, a raffle of donated gifts, and vendors selling jewelry, purses, and accessories. Shopping and raffle sales begin at 10:30 a.m. Luncheon seating starts at 11:45am, with the Fashion Show beginning at 12:30pm. Fashions are from Von Maur at Perimeter Mall. PLEASE register early, as ticket prices will increase from $40 to $50 on September 7th.

Alpha Xi Delta Founders' Day Postponed due to COVID-19

Dear Sisters,

Due to the unforeseen circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Atlanta South Metro Alumnae Association is postponing our Founders' Day Luncheon & Celebration, scheduled for April 11, 2020.

Our venue is closed for the next 30 days, in accordance with the CDC's requests. We are working diligently with our venue to reschedule our celebration and find accommodating dates during the summer months. The Georgia Rose Award and milestone recipients will be honored then.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility during these unpredictable times. We will keep you updated once we receive a new date.

Atlanta Panhellenic Sisters For Scholars

Dear Sisters,

Each year the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association Foundation requests that each of our member groups donate $250 to support our scholarship efforts. Many of the larger groups have this built into their dues, but since we do not, it is through the individual generosity of our sisters that we have been able to meet our goal every year for Sisters For Scholars.

Cheryl, Sue and I represent Alpha Xi Delta in various Panhellenic positions, Cheryl as our Delegate, Sue and I as Alternate Delegates, and I am serving as a Trustee/Treasurer of the recently established Panhellenic Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation. And all of us support the Foundation financially through the Annual Giving Circles and donations to their fundraisers.

I hope that we can count on some of you to help us meet our Sisters For Scholars goal. Please send your tax deductible check (of any amount), payable to Atlanta Panhellenic Foundation, or AAPAF, to:

Letter from the Delta Xi President 

Hello everyone! My name is Dulari Doshi and I am honored and humbled to introduce myself as the president of the Delta Xi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta at Georgia State University. I cannot wait to serve this next calendar year with such a talented and driven executive board. 

As the year is drawing to a close, I cannot help but highlight the achievements of the Delta Xi chapter. This past year our chapter had the highest GPA of all Greek sororities and fraternities at Georgia State. This award bolsters the women of Delta Xi’s commitment to realizing our potential and consistently striving to be well-rounded individuals. Two of our most vital philanthropic events, Xiti with the Xis and Futbol Frenxi have grown to become more successful than ever and we have had the opportunity to educate a wider audience on Autism Speaks this past year. 

Not only have our philanthropy events grown, but we have had so many amazing opportunities to strengthen our sisterhood. This year, the Delta Xi chapter went camping for All Chapter Retreat and Big-Little Reveal at the Shady Grove Campsite. “Camp AXiD” as we call it provided sisters a chance to step away from the workload of college and hustle and bustle of living in a big city. It gave sisters a moment to fully immerse in Alpha Xi and spend quality time with all of our sisters. Events like these as well as Friendsgiving, movie nights and even simply relaxing at house together has culminated to a stronger, tighter knit Delta Xi chapter.

Our chapter grows leaps and bounds every year and I cannot wait to see the innovative ideas developed by our new executive board. With these strong, dependable young women leading our chapter, I am confident and enthusiastic to see what 2018 holds. However, Delta Xi would not be the chapter it is today without the continuous support from our alumnae. Thank you for creating a foundation to build Delta Xi upon and exemplifying TFJ and heart sunshine every day. Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and a great rest of the year. TFJ!
